Step off the beaten path with Misty Isles as we head for the Northern shores of Cortes Island! Beginning at the Gorge Harbour Marina, we will weave our way past sheer cliffs and narrow sandspits towards Sutil Channel. A starboard turn carries us into the rich feeding grounds of Humpback Whales, Pacific Whitesided Dolphins and other marine mammals. With keen eyes and crossed fingers we voyage north towards towering Coast Mountain Range vistas and around the remote tip of Cortes Island. The steep, forested walls of West Redonda Island and east Cortes Island flank us as we travel the canyon like waterway of Lewis Channel, south to our final destination at the anchorage off Squirrel Cove. Enjoy a unique, one way adventure around a part of Cortes Island frequented more by wildlife, than by human beings.

TRIP DETAILS: Departs from Gorge Harbour Marina and concludes at Squirrel Cove Government Dock.  Trip includes ground Transportation back to Gorge Harbour Marina via Klahoose Community Shuttle Bus. This is a boat based trip, with stops for swimming and wildlife viewing, but no shore visits due to steep terrain. Private washroom onboard. Coffee, tea and homemade cookies from the Galley await!
